If you drive out a little past Rosenberg and then venture off of Highway 36, you will find Pavlock Farms. Run by Greg Pavlock and his family, they operate a farmer's market where you can buy produce fresh from the field. It can't get any fresher unless you want to walk out into the field and pick it yourself. I have been buying vegetables from the Pavlocks for over 20 years and even with modern technology, you just can't beat the quality of their produce. A little known secret is that they also sell real cane syrup and it is awesome; just use caution as it has been known to send people into orbit.
