The Three Soldiers Statue is located on the Washington Mall near the Vietnam War Memorial otherwise known as the Vietnam Wall.
When viewing this iconic statue, I felt as if I was gazing back in time at my father’s generation while they were slugging around in rice paddies fighting in the jungles of Vietnam. The look tired battle hardened stares and sweat drenched bodies just make me think of how miserable it must have been.
By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
