Pura Vida Waterfall Beach Towel

In Costa Rica, Pura Vida or “Pure Life” is more than a saying, it is the attitude of the entire country. Everywhere you go in Costa Rica, you are surrounded by the beauty of nature and the true allure to a simple way of life.
While hiking through the Rainforests of Costa Rica, I came across this waterfall and before taking pictures, I just listened to the running water. It was so relaxing being engulfed in the sounds of the rainforest and watching the pure water pour from a seemingly endless source.
The water cascades down the mountainside into a larger and larger flowing streams that eventually carry the water to the ocean.
The mist of the waterfall creates a naturally cool area to escape the heat and humidity of the surrounding rainforest, providing a soothing place to rest while hiking.

By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
